Legal
Rules for using the Maxentra website and engaging our interior renovation and construction services in Poland — from enquiries and quotes through project delivery and handover.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to maxentrarenovations.com (the “Website”) and your relationship with Maxentra sp. z o.o. (“Maxentra”, “we”, “us”, “our”) when you enquire about or purchase our services. By using the Website or engaging us, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or our services.
Where you enter a separate written contract, quotation acceptance, or order form with us (“Project Agreement”), that document governs the specific project. If there is a conflict, the Project Agreement prevails for project work; these Terms apply to everything else (including Website use and general business terms unless the Project Agreement states otherwise).

We provide interior renovation and related construction services for residential properties, primarily in Warsaw and surrounding areas in Poland.
You may use the Website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
Content on the Website (text, images, branding, layout) is owned by Maxentra or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to public pages for personal, non-commercial reference.
The Website is provided “as is”. We aim to keep information accurate but do not guarantee that all content is complete, current, or error-free. Descriptions of services are general; exact scope is defined in your Quote or Project Agreement.
Information you submit through the Website, email, or phone is used to respond to your enquiry as described in our Privacy Policy.
Unless we clearly label a Quote as binding for a fixed period, quotes are invitations to treat and may be revised after site inspection, measurement, or material selection. A project starts only when both parties sign or otherwise accept a Project Agreement or written order confirmation.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about the Property, existing conditions, co-owner consent, building rules, and any restrictions that could affect the work.
Services include only the tasks, rooms, materials, and standards listed in the agreed Quote or Project Agreement. We focus on interior renovation and finishing within existing structures unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
We do not perform work that would violate building regulations, safety codes, or landlord or community rules. If we discover hidden defects (for example moisture, unsafe wiring, or structural issues), we will notify you and may pause work until an agreed solution is found, which may require a revised scope and price.
To allow safe and efficient work, you agree to:
Delays caused by lack of access, late decisions, or incomplete information may extend timelines and could incur additional costs if agreed rates for waiting time or remobilisation apply in your Project Agreement.
Prices are shown in Polish złoty (PLN) unless stated otherwise and, where applicable, include or exclude VAT as indicated on the Quote or invoice.
Payment terms (deposits, milestones, final payment) are set out in your Project Agreement. Unless agreed differently, invoices are due within the period stated on the invoice. Late payment may attract statutory interest and recovery costs permitted under Polish law.
If you dispute an invoice, notify us promptly in writing with reasons. You must pay undisputed amounts when due.
Any change to scope, materials, or schedule (“Variation”) must be agreed in writing before we carry out the extra work. Verbal requests may be confirmed by email. Variations may affect price and completion date.
We may recommend alternatives if selected materials are unavailable or unsuitable; we will not substitute significantly different items without your approval.
We plan realistic schedules and communicate milestones. Dates are estimates unless your Project Agreement specifies a fixed completion date with agreed remedies. Events outside our reasonable control (see section 15) may delay work.
On completion, we invite you to a walkthrough. Snagging items noted during walkthrough or within the defect period in your Project Agreement will be addressed in line with that document. Final payment terms apply as agreed; retention for snagging may be specified in writing.
We perform Services with reasonable skill and care and in accordance with the agreed specification. Manufacturer warranties on products (tiles, fixtures, appliances) pass through to you where applicable; registration or care instructions are your responsibility unless we agree to assist.
You must notify us of defects within the period stated in your Project Agreement or, if none is stated, within a reasonable time after you discover or ought to have discovered the issue. We will remedy confirmed defects attributable to our workmanship in line with the Project Agreement and mandatory consumer protection rules where they apply.
We are not responsible for defects arising from normal wear, misuse, modifications by third parties, or failure to follow maintenance guidance.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Subject to the above, our total liability arising from a project or from Website use is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant Services in the twelve months before the claim, except where a Project Agreement sets a different cap.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (such as loss of profit, alternative accommodation costs, or business interruption) except where required by mandatory law.
You are responsible for maintaining insurance covering your Property and contents during renovation. We maintain appropriate business insurance for our operations as required for our trade.
Unless you object in writing before or during the project, we may photograph completed work (without personal belongings where practicable) for portfolio, website, or marketing use. You may request anonymity or restriction to private records only; we will honour reasonable requests where contractually agreed.
If you cancel before work starts, any non-refundable deposits or costs already incurred (materials ordered, design time) may be charged as stated in your Quote or Project Agreement.
Either party may terminate a Project Agreement for material breach if the breach is not remedied within a reasonable notice period, subject to mandatory consumer rights where you act as a consumer under Polish law.
On termination, you pay for work performed and committed costs up to the termination date, minus any amounts we agree to credit.
We are not in breach if delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, pandemic measures, utility failures, supply chain disruption, war, civil unrest, or actions of authorities. We will inform you and reschedule where possible.
The Website may link to third-party sites; we are not responsible for their content or policies. We may use qualified subcontractors for specialist trades; we remain responsible for their work toward you as set out in the Project Agreement.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Courts in Poland have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer rules that may allow consumers to bring claims in their place of residence.
We prefer to resolve concerns amicably. Please contact us first at Maxentra@op.pl. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution bodies or platforms made available under EU or Polish law where applicable.
We may update these Terms when our services, Website, or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page. Continued use of the Website after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; active Project Agreements continue under the terms agreed at signing unless we agree otherwise in writing.
